Ogun Govt. Applauded For Developmental Strides

The giant strides of the Senator Ibikunle Amosun led administration in Ogun State, in the area of efficient health care delivery, education, food security and the provision of good road networks have been applauded by the State House Press Corps.

Chairman of the Corps, Mallam Ubale Musa who gave the applause during an assessment tour of projects within the State, said he was impressed with what he met on ground, adding that it was an indication that the Senator Ibikunle Amosun led Government was committed to the overall development of the State.

Musa opined that if what the team saw at various project sites in Ogun State was replicated in other States of the federation, the change mantra of the President Muhammad Buhari led administration would have been achieved.

On the newly inaugurated Ogun State Technical Institute, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, the Chairman expressed delight that the State Government was putting in place facilities, where youths could be better trained in vocational skills.

“Yes, we are all impressed with the Technical Institute, because this is the first of its kind we have seen in Nigeria and this goes a long way to show the commitment towards industrialization we are talking about, we have seen the fabricating machine, wood machine and others.

I think Ogun State is moving higher and what they need to do is to maintain the tempo, and I can assure, with what we have seen so far, that Ogun is capable of taking Nigeria to a greater height, “he said.

Conducting them round the various project sites, the State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Otunba Dayo Adeneye, urged the Press Corps to further help   publicise what the  State Government was doing, promising that this administration would not rest on its oars at rebuilding the State.

Areas visited included the Abeokuta City Center, Oke-Ilewo, Comprehensive Health Care Center, Totoro, Ogun State Technical Institute, Idi-Aba, Odeda Farm Institute, Odeda, and the President Muhammad Buhari Estate, along  Abeokuta- Sagamu Expressway.
