Ogun Executive Council Commiserates With Akarigbo

The Ogun State Executive Council has commiserated with the Akarigbo and Paramount ruler of Remoland, Oba Abiodun Ajayi, on the death of his wife, Linga Ajayi, who died on the 18th of this month.

The Council at its weekly meeting held at Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, described Late Olori Linga Ajayi as a woman of repute, whose character and simplicity was a reference point for all, especially as a surgeon.

The Deputy Governor, Chief (Mrs.) Yetunde Onanuga who presided over the meeting, also commiserated with the family and friends of a  political and community leader in Adigbe Local Council Development Area, Alhaji Jimoh Ogunfolaji, who passed on last night.

While extolling the virtues of the deceased, the executive council, described him as a true democrat, who laboured for the development of his council area and the State.

The members prayed to God to grant the Akarigbo and the late Ogunfolaji’s family the fortitude to bear the loss and eternal rest for the souls of the departed.
