OGHA Members Laud Housing Ministry On Rehabilitation Of Assembly Complex

Impressed by the timely completion of rehabilitation works carried out by the Ogun State Ministry of Housing at the State House of Assembly Complex, Abeokuta, Lawmakers have commended the Ministry for a job well done.

Hon. Layiwola Ojodu gave the commendation during the Ministry’s 2018 budget defence before the State House Committee on Housing led by Hon. Adebiyi Adeleye at the Complex, appreciating the Ministry for its efficiency   in executing the rehabilitation work.

Hon. Akinpelu Aina also lauded the Ministry for being proactive in the discharge of its duties in line with the Mission to Rebuild Ogun State, expressing the confidence that the Ministry’s  2018 budget would not be a mere paper work.

In her remarks, the Commissioner, Arc. Segun Abiodun disclosed that the Ministry had some projects in the pipeline, highlighting them to include; a new Government City which would include offices and residential accommodation for government functionaries.

Others were construction of an Adire Shopping Mall, development of housing scheme at Ipokia for the new Ogun State Polytechnic, construction of mechanized work sheds at Ilaro and Ijebu Ode as well as the completion of site and services scheme at the President Muhammadu Buhari Estate among others.
